Review of Maggie (2015) by Mohammed A — 25 Jun 2015
On the positive side the movie's atmosphere and mood is a perfect reflection of the inevitability of a looming tragedy that one has no control over except to wait helplessly and hope for a miracle.
It is also a refreshing take on the zombie genre and a respectable attempt at the irony of preserving a dying life at all cost. The dialogues are better than average. Arnold and Maggie played a comfortable father daughter relationship.
However, on the negative side, a perfect score for "Maggie" will be its ability to stir empathy from the audience which I find myself not doing in most parts of the movie.
