I liked this way more than I thought I would. It is dystopian, so it will be sad. You know coming into it it will be. However, it reminded me of the 6 weeks I spent with my father when he died of cancer.

That love makes you give this person all the life and time you can give them, even as they decline in front of you. There is real love in this portrayal. I think many people panning this movie haven't lived through a close terminal illness.

The father/daughter relationship really did make this beautiful, bittersweet. There could be more or less or whatever as the other critics are saying, but I found this so touching. It is slow, but death is sometimes slow.
