Review of Maggie (2015) by Dave W — 17 Dec 2015
Low-key zombie drama which is slightly unbalanced by Arnie's presence. He delivers a good performance, but it's really a YA tale focusing more on the plight of Abigail Breslin's character. The story feels like it's heading for a showdown between Arnie and the police, but it doesn't deliver.
The pace is deliberately slow, aiming for atmosphere but it's a tad plodding. Nice idea and nice try, though.
