Review of Maggie (2015) by Bigtunaonfilm — 08 May 2015
This was a beautiful, bumpy ride to a horrible ending. The story was beautiful, but the film suffered a lack of pacing. Some moments were extremely thrilling, some moments seemed to drag on forever, and some moments built to nothing.
That is where the ending comes in. This movie is ultimately about Schwarzenegger's character, not Breslin's, and the ending resolved Breslin's storyline, but Schwarzenegger's storyline was not resolved.
Had they added another scene at the ending resolving his storyline, my score would have been a point higher. This is one of Schwarzenegger's better performances, and it stands out among other zombie flicks.
