Review of Maggie (2015) by Ken K — 11 Aug 2015
Slow, meticulous. scenes so well shot and directed to assure that they audience has had time to absorb the powerful story being told. Constantly looking back to make sure all the emotion in these scenes has been digested before moving on.
Who would have known, Schwarzenegger can act, he can survive outside his comfort zone of action hero. This film had me from scene one. All the time in the back of my mind, something catastrophic as this could actually happen some dark day.
A wake up call?? Maybe. See it by all means but leave your preconceptions behind and let it take you where it wants you to go.
