Review of Mademoiselle Chambon (2009) by Tracey C — 04 Jun 2010
Very poignant, old-fashioned love story between adults in mid-life trying to reevaluate their lives when the unexpected happens. okay, you can't be too jaded to watch this film. the slow pacing and moving string instrumentals lend a respectful solemnity to the proceedings.
It is a French contemporary equivalent to"Brief Encounter." However, the male protagonist's subjectivity is not only explored in depth but privileged. you can watch this French drama with the parents :).
