Review of Madea's Witness Protection (2012) by Timothy R — 11 Jul 2012
This film has to be one of Tyler Perry's best films yet. He has been in the film industry for quite some time and has even established his own Studio in Atlanta, Georgia. This film is full of laughs and life lessons about the value of family and being willing to lend a helping hand to people in need of assistance. I highly recommend this movie for a good laugh and a little extra push in the right direction of perserverance and never losing sight of doing the right thing.
George Needleman is a CFO for a major Wall Street Investment Bank who is unaware that his company is using him to take the fall for years of laudering money. He is a hard working and very distnat father and husband. He is experiencing the trials of a combined family. He has a daughter from a previous marriage and has taken in a son from his new marriage. His daughter takes advantage of every chance she gets to lash out at her father, new mother and brother.
George is at risk of being found and killed by the mafia in his city because his is responsible for the money that they lost in the non-profit investments in his company. So they are relocated to Georgia where they stay with Madea. Madea is the aunt of the lawyer who is over Needleman's case. They had to take a different approach due to the fact that previous men ad families have been found in the normal system. No one would find them with Madea.
Romeo Miller's character is a son desperately seeking to please and care for his ill father who is a preacher at the local church. He lost the money his father entrusted him with to pay off the church in Needleman's comapany. So Miller is racing against the clock to recover the money before his father steps down as the preacher and delivers the news to his congregation.
