Review of Madea's Witness Protection (2012) by Taj X — 08 Aug 2012
Madea, Joe, and Barbara (Doris Roberts) delivered extremely funny performances. The story is predictable with tons of laughs along the way and a life betterment message to send you on your way. I like to call it the TP Formula.
If something could be changed to make the movie better it would be the development of George Needleman (Eugene Levy) and his family's story. Their story was not dynamic. Without Madea the story would've been extremely flat.
If the other characters and their stories were as well developed as Madea the movie would have been that much better. All in all I enjoyed the movie. It is worth seeing if you need a good time and good laugh.
