Tyler Perry is big on stressing themes of forgiveness and understanding, which is good because you'll need a little of both to get through this one. I found myself with a good portion of both, so I was able to find a laugh or two, but for every hit there are three misses.
A movie like this would be horrible at the game Battleship.
