For starters, I wouldn't classify this movie as a comedy.
The movie looks at domestic violence and exploitation to sexual abuse.
The movie has some comic relief BUT overall comes out as a Drama.
A great star cast. Maya Angelou and Cecily Tyson add further quality to the project in brief cameos.
Blair Underwood is excellent as the abusive fiancee.
