Review of Madea's Family Reunion (2006) by Cheryl C — 24 Jul 2010
A great cast, very deep acting. But it just seems very slow, drawn out and overdramatic at times to the point where you want to fast forward to the funny parts. It didn't help that it was a follow up after a Diary of A Mad Black Woman.
Not as much humor and playful scenes, but a very nice message for the older generation to appreciate. I still love Tyler Perry's works however, but the story just seems too long and too slow to get to the good parts.
