The "movie about making a movie that doesn't actually exist" premise is a perfectly fine one, but this particular example perhaps didn't have the content to stretch to its ninety minute runtime.
Jennifer Tilly and Jason Flemyng as the leads of the fake movie are fine, but Joe Shaw as the lead of the actual movie is on occasion embarrassing.
