On the plus side, I really like Sally Hawkins, but this film made me angry. It made the story very pretty to look at and shallow. I didn't realise working in a factory in ford was so glamourous. The writing was cliched and twee.
At the end it failed to mention that women still earn on average less than men, and showing the real women the film was based on made the film implode on itself. That was a story I was interested in not this disney land story based on a Dagenham that doesn't exist.
and bob hoskins can quite simply fuck off. fact.
