Review of Made in Dagenham (2010) by Khristina M — 27 Oct 2010
Loved this film. Loved the subject, loved the characters and most of all, I loved the earrings!
To talk briefly about the period aspects of this film, it was successful, because it felt real. Most characters lived a 'normal' '60's life but then there were injections of what has become iconic about the '60's such as the hot pants reference, or when we visit Lisa's home with it's iconic 60's furniture and clothes. Very well done.
The subject was so well chosen, the story perfectly paced, never losing your interest or attention. If you are a lady with a smudge of self respect you will love this film!
