Review of Made in Dagenham (2010) by Melissa H — 14 Jan 2011
A pretty good female power, woman on top kind of film. I completely adore Sally Hawkins, she's so personable and a blast to watch. She seems like she'd be such a fun person to be friends with. A witty script although it sometimes dragged and was slow in pace, it took a long while to get to the climax.
I enjoyed Bob Hoskins performance in this, Geraldine James did very well, and I loved what Miranda Rirchardson did with her part! Rosamund Pike is gorgeous and I like how she's being seen in a lot more films than usual lately.
This was a pretty decent film. There were some fun scenes and moments of power but I think it needed just a little more oomph!
