Review of Made in Dagenham (2010) by Andy W — 07 Apr 2011
A feelgood anti-Full Monty, wherein discriminated female workers empower themselves to bring about change. Its entertaining, with a quite remarkable true story. The performances elevate the somewhat over-simplified A-to-B plotting; stronger characterisation would have been nice, instead of the somewhat stereotypical roles that are on show, but its undemanding, watchable fun.
