This is a real English gem that didn't get wide release in Canadian theaters...a shame !It's out on dvd now and well worth a look. It is not a feminist movie ,but a story of inequality and injustice and based on a true story .
Ford motor takes advantage of women working for low pay until one day, these ladies find their voice and fight the giant corporation .Sally Hawkins is an amazing actress ,who will one day win an Oscar,I'm sure.
The 60's is portrayed with amazing accuracy .It is a thought provoking and uplifting movie,suitable for all viewers.
