Review of Made in Dagenham (2010) by Bill F — 15 Apr 2011
"Made in Dagenham" tells the inspiring true story of 187 women machinists in Ford Motor Company's Dagenham, England factory, who helped improve the world in 1968 when they went on strike for equal pay for equal work.
Sally Hawkins carries the lead role to perfection and the rest of the cast follow right along. This is a great film treatment of an important time and event. Speakers of North American English, like me, may have trouble following some of the dialogue due to the thickness of some of the British accents, but hey, that's why they make English subtitles.
.. This movie is a "Don't Miss"!
