Cool and inspiring movie, funny as well. In the late 60s, a group of women machinists at one of the Ford manufacturing plants in the UK made history. They fought the company and their union for respect and for what was the right thing to do- pay women and men equally for equal work done.
Their actions led to equal pay legislation in England and inspired movements in other western nations. Sad to note that almost the entire 'civilized' western world legislated equal pay 40 years ago, the big holdout being the USA.
