Review of Made (2001) by Jennifer W — 19 Jul 2008

Shot with real style and class, this movie didn't dissapoint, even though I thought it would. It's a bit more than just a comedy, a bit deeper than what I figured it would be. Favreau goes through all this shit with this guy (Vaughn) that keeps fucking up, is utterly unlikeable and totally disrespectful, and you wonder why he sticks by him the whole time.

Well, at the end you find out why. With all of his faults he's completely loyal and is really the only one in his life that he can rely on, even though he's such a fuck-up. Funny all the way through, but the ending just brought it home.
