Review of Madame X (1966) by James H — 10 Jan 2010
What melodrama! This is the third version, it was filmed in 1929 and 1937 before this version. Lana Turner is at her suffering best. The story was, and is way over the top, but then again, it is part of the appeal of stories like this.
Glossy production, and it's great to see Constance Bennett in one of her few roles at this time.
