This was pretty good (for a sequel); the storyline between Melvin and Gloria was really cute and Moto Moto was a hilarious new character. My favorite by far is still crazy old King Julian and there was just not enough of his silliness in this one, the penguins were awesome as usual but overall, I much prefer the first movie.
