Dreamworks' third instalment in it's world tour series goes to Europe. But is the trip worth it?

After the events of the second film, Alex, Marty, Melmin, and Gloria are hard pressed to get to New York. But the trip is STILL not without its dangers as they evade Animal Control's Du Buois (Hellen Mirran). To escape her, they board a failing animal circus, but as they tour Europe, they begin to realize that the future they want is right in front of them.

If you've seen any Dreamworks movie, then you know that there are laughs, and silly moments. This is the same formula. But the plot isn't lost to the laughs for a change.

The animation is a feast for the eyes, bright colors swirl as the circus performs, and huge world monuments are recreated with care. One of the best looking Dreamworks movies yet.

Among the characters is the addition of the villain Du Buois played by Hellen Mirran. Her character made the movie for me, she's insane, funny, and has an awesome theme by composer Hans Zimmer. She is one of the better of the Dreamworks villains.

The main problem I've had with this series hasn't been the movie itself, but the overplayed 'I like to move it.' music, but it is strangely absent in this film, which makes it more enjoyable for me personally.

Does it have its problems? Yes. But almost every movie has them. It is an enjoyable experience, and concludes the road trip on its highest note. (4/5).
