I think they finally got it right. Madagascar 3 is the best film in the Madagascar series and it's due to it's solid, coherent plotline with lovable characters. They also improved the humor to appease an older audience, while maintaining suitability for younger children.
I have to say I am definitely much more satisfied than I thought I would be.
