This Halloween Cl;assic (which stopped being shown on Halloween in the 80's, as it was found to have 'undertones not suitable for children' comes from the same folks who brought us X'mas faves, which are still played, Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer, and Frosty the Snowman, etc.
.) Rankin & Bass really flex their plasticene here, and with Karloff being replicated in it, along with other immediately recognized 'Monsters' (all sounding conspiciously close to the real voices, such as Peter Lorre, Vincent Price.
.) and That gorgeous Red Headed witch....All of that, plus Phyllis Diller? C'mon, you just can't avoid watching this...a true historical gem in the art of 'animotion'.
