Review of Mad Money (2008) by Michael V — 06 Mar 2010
"Unless you have a half-dozen very hard rectangular breasts, we need to talk.".
A career low for Diane Keaton. What was she doing in this? I understand there are not enough solid roles available for serious actresses but this poorly written and even worse acted heist comedy should have been avoided at all costs by any top actresses; especially former Oscar Winners and Godfather alum. I typically enjoy heist movies be it dramatic or comic but this film was so weakly plotted it took all the fun out of it. All that said it is always nice to see Christopher McDonald, Stephen Root, and Ted Danson getting roles. Even if it's something as lame as this.
Most Awesome Moment: Not really a moment but Katie Holmes turned down The Dark Knight for this. HAHAHA. Apparently this was more important then one of the best films of the decade.
