What we have here is a grandiose action flick; the biggest and fastest jaunt at the amusement park, if you will. Overall, high marks for direction, editing, camera, art department, and sound design / sound (this one goes to eleven).

Low to average marks for script, story, dialogue, occasional "movie music" and character depth. Ultimately, Fury Road is a heavy metal, in your face, hang on to your seat thrill ride that is best experienced on a big screen with a great sound system.

If you are looking for straight up action, you will not be disappointed.
