Review of Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) by Cinemacritic — 23 May 2015
Very disappointing. Did I watch a completely different film than everyone else, or is the general movie going public just easily entertained by wrecks and explosions? Having waited for a year to see it, I hated it.
The framing, color grading, practical effects, and stunt work were all astonishing. But, the acting (except for Hoult), characters, story, camera, matte work, compositing, were terrible.
