Review of Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) by Freddie S — 03 Feb 2016

Every year there's that film that comes out of nowhere and simply kills it. Last year it was Guardians of the Galaxy for me, even thought it was hyped plenty, it still surprised me. Mad Max: Fury Road might be that film for this year.

It's almost always better to know as little as possible about movies before going in. For Mad Max I couldn't have even told you it was supposed to be set in the future. I only knew it was a Mel Gibson trilogy from the early 80's.

What a ride, Mad Max is one of the best action films I've seen in a long time. I wouldn't recommend it to everyone, it's out there, but it's a great film. Tom Hardy is supposedly contracted for more films, and if they are as good as Fury Road, I'll be there to see them.
