THIS IS A MOVIE.
Mad Max cannot be the definition of anything because it is beyond so many simple categories. I may seem somewhat biased in this review but I don't give a shit, I LOVE THIS MOVIE. There are brief moments that hint at the sci-fi world that this masterpiece exists in. The action sequences are beautifully realistic with the rust and haze of the post apocalyptic wasteland. The characters are strong and charismatic drawing us into this seemingly impossible world. The concepts are insane and wonderful, and suddenly...Mos Eisley seems like everyday life. I could speak endlessly about how much I love this movie without stating a single flaw because to be frank, there are pretty much none.
