Review of Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) by Milkshake_Vm — 17 Dec 2018
Pure action. The hardened stoic man. This is who your dad thinks he is. This movies **** baller, im sure you can find some poetic meaning in here. Like a princesses love for a dying sickly cancer written teenage child.
Or that Max's only instinct "survive" is succumbed to love. The action though. The action is where this movie is a feat. Its artistically a masterpiece. The staging of the action is thought out.
The pacing. The suspense. The love devices make you care enough. The Survive device makes you feel cool enough. The action device makes you feel alive. Must watch. I am a fan of art. And this is simply not just cars exploding and max grunting.
Its art. Which mostly involves said two former's. But beautifully and thoughtfully crafted for our enjoyment. Nothing more than that. It wants us to enjoy it. And all pieces of the film fit together to match only that belief.
Does the audience enjoy it.
