Review of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) by Ryan D — 07 Dec 2008
This one has the more interesting story of the 3 in my opinion; stupider, but more interesting. More post apocalyptic feeling than the other 2, without the gang fighting. Instead the gangs are replaced with a couple thieves, a town with it's own politics/wars/shady dealings, and town of lost children.
It has some silly humor thrown in, although not often funny. Of the three movies, this is the least graphic. In fact it starts to feel like a kid movie towards the end. It has it's ridiculous parts too, like a guys car blowing up and the guy inside it not having a scratch, or like the quicksand in the sand dunes.
