Never work with kids or animals, that's the rule. George Miller has shown he can work with animals very well (The dog from Mad Max II, Babe, The monkey in this) but he definately needs to keep distance from kids, especially those that are wannabe Peter Pan lost boys.
Easily the weakest of the trilogy, the rating is lowered and as such everything becomes a lot more family friendly. Trading in high octane thrills for more dollar bills destroyed the film.
I did like the way Beyond Thunderdome was a seperate story though from Mad Max II, that worked very well. As usual, Bruce Spence is golden.
