The apparent ending of the series changed another time the rules of the game; farest again from the unknown "X" cataclysm that struck the world, the story open the door of the purely fantastic.
Less violent than its predecessors, it's a (rather campy) peterpanesque Star Wars in the desert's sands where Max has become something evanescent and literary: the stuff of legend, the archetype of the Hero on a quest.
A farewell which takes a firm route toward the bizarre...
