Higher production values and investment than previous versions, but somehow loses the edge that Mad Max 2 had. Mel Gibson turns in the required performance and the story elements take the story forward, though to some extent it is more of the same.
An enjoyable sequence of action that features Tina Turner turning in a reasonably good dramatic performance.
