Review of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) by Tom R — 25 Jun 2011
So, there was a lot to follow after The Road Warrior. Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome has a lot less car chases than its predecessors, but it kind of makes sense in the world since almost all the fuel is depleted.
It does have more hand-to-hand combat and the Thunderdome battle between Max and Blaster is both fun and amusing. The rest of the movie is okay with any action scene elevating your excitement briefly.
Beyond Thunderdome isn't a bad movie or a bad sequel, but I can see trilogy completists enjoying it more than average viewers.
