Review of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) by Zoë P — 19 Aug 2008
Yes, I finally got to see the third installments in the Mad Max Trilogy! It was great Mad Max once again gets his stuff stolen so he seeks Bartertown and thinks he is getting a "deal" when he enters the Thunderdome to fight Blaster.
It was sad that Aunty wanted Max to kill Blaster when he was just a mentally retartded guy, he was like a baby, that was sad. I didn't know that Tina Turner was such a good actress and what was with the master of the ring was he trying to be like Vincent Price or something? It was sad when Max left the children standing on top of the plane and he had to tell them there was no Tomorrowland but they had to know.
I liked the guy with white and black paint on his body he was so freakin' funny!? Once again Max was left by the Gyro Capatain but I think Max does better alone on the road. The third installment was great and ended the trilogy well.
