Review of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) by Tasos L — 25 Sep 2010
Like Mad Max to The Road Warrior this movie also manages to evolve. They went from bullies on bikes, to bullies with mohawks on bikes, now those bullies have actually tried to form a settlement and put their bikes into storage. Beyond Thunderdome doesn't try to recreate the same movie again like most sequels do, this one manages to take the grit and add some heart. It also progresses from one child to a couple dozen of them.
I have a feeling people would hate this because of the kids or the reduction of car crashes but really, the car crashes were getting a little repetitive. I just thought it was weird they had a train track that leads to nowhere.
Call me crazy but that was a darn good movie. Its a "must see" for any WCW wrestling fan.
