Review of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) by Jacob W — 10 May 2015
This 3rd film takes a different approach. It's less violent with less car chases and almost kid friendly. Still it's visually stunning and well made. The film isn't the best one but it's far from bad with some good action.
The plot is just silly where a tribe of young people mistake Max for a pilot named Walker who will fly them to a city called Tomorrow Land. But even then there's something admirable about George Miller's style. While Mel owns every scene he is in whether he has lines or not.
