Review of Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome (1985) by Eduardo A — 07 Aug 2014
The saga of Mad Max, created and directed by George Miller, ends with this third party will not be at the height of the previous two chapters, but it is a good movie, although it is discontinuous, from the point of view of the type of narrative.
The first part of the film is really well written (good representation of Bordertown, a company that is not yet civilized and humanized), the second part is less, not bad (in which Max finds this tribe of young people and children waiting for the elusive Captain Walker, to save them and lead them to a better life), but I seemed to see a family film.
But despite that, I liked the idea of ??putting in contrast the cynicism and violence of adults in Bordertown and the hope and humanity of the tribe of the children, which is reminiscent of the lost children of Peter Pan.
I repeat, it is not at the level of the first and second chapter, but it is a good final chapter and is very interesting.
