Review of Mad Max 2 (1981) by Lewis E — 25 May 2015
Sometimes, 2 is better. Bigger budget and a more commercially suitable plot helps this sequel deliver in areas where its predecessor couldn't. Although portions could still be considered underdeveloped or/and outdated, its effective high speed road action shares entertaining qualities with the new reboot while the clearer dystopian wasteland atmosphere also enables 'Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior' to offer the stronger verification for the series's success.
