The continuation of Mad Max is greater in every way; it's an action-packed adventure with great storytelling and really awesome practical effects. The action is refreshing and it got its innovation. The actors are much better than in the first movie, and almost everything is in fact much better than the first movie.
The villain might be the only aspect that's not better than the first movie, but it's still awesome! This movie is one of its kind; it got great cinematography and the action is really well directed. Solid characters and surprising events are other great aspects of this movie.
George Miller really did succeed with this second installment; it's everything the original isn't.
