Is this movie a classic? Yes, Was this movie better than the first one? Yes, but is it the greatest Action movie ever made? No. I know lots of people enjoy this movie very much and I don't blame them it's very good it has great action scenes, good acting performance by Mel Gibson, much better car chasing scenes than the first and much cooler villains than the first one.
But that all aside it still doesn't match up to being the greatest Action movie ever made. Personally I think the Lord Of The Rings trilogy and Die Hard are the greatest Action movies ever made because not only are there Action scenes Epic there also very entertaining.
So yes this movie is a great Action movie, but not the best.
