Great post-apocalyptic, shoot-em-up, crazy car crash fun. Back before Gibson found "god" and turned into a complete loser, even before he sold his soul for all those needless Lethal Weapon sequels, he actually made highly entertaining, genuinely fucked up, awesome post-apocalyptic action films.
Just look at the names of the characters in this movie: Lord Humungus, Feral Child, Curmudgeon, Toadie? How can this not kick fucking ass? Answer: it kicks fucking ass.
