Review of Mad Max 2 (1981) by Adrian Z — 18 Nov 2013
Mad Max 2 is a greatly polished sequel that features brilliant car stunts as well as terrific cinematography and production design. The premise, Max gets roped into a stand off between a group of marauders and a fortified township sitting on an oil well, is simple and leads to almost non-stop action.
Gibson by now owns the role, but Bruce Spence is a great addition to the cast as his half-mad partner.
