Review of Mad Max 2 (1981) by Matt C — 13 Feb 2015
This is a decent watch but ultimately with a big budget it's almost impossible to re-create the grimy insanity of the first brilliant film. The plot is basically Star Wars in the Australian desert anyway with Mad Max playing the Han Solo character of a renegade loner who eventually decides to help out the plucky gang of renegades.
Isn't Tina Turner in the next one?
