Review of Mad Max 2 (1981) by Hugo G — 13 May 2015
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior is just as good as its predecessor, although very different in style. Losing the suspense and build up of the previous film, this sequel centers more on the desolation of a starving world and the hungry forces that manipulate human nature.
Gibson has grown into the role of the road warrior and gained the maverick-styled attitude. With playful villains of the 80s, and the styles of the time coming more into the movie, it is an enjoyable movie with some silly and over the top action scenes.
