Review of Mad Max 2 (1981) by Brandon W — 14 May 2015
Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior is a fantastic sequel that is better than the first movie. The acting is terrific from Mel Gibson and the rest of the supporting cast. The car crashes look amazing and very authentic to look at. The car chases are very exciting to watch, and the characters are very memorable. The plot is actually pretty good and is larger than the original. The writing is very.
Good, and it's nice to see that George Miller has a lot of things up his sleeves even after the original. The pacing is blazingly fast that does let you take a breath after all of the action that has been going on. I honestly thought there was about to be a love interest for Max, but it actually didn't went with that route which is actually pretty cool. Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior is one of the rare sequels that outdone the original that's already great enough for the first movie.
