*Re-watching and rating the original trilogy after seeing Mad Max: Fury Road*.
In my opinion, it was this movie that started it all, not the first. This film is simply a masterpiece and really is the only one of the original trilogy that's worthy of significant acclaim. A no holds barred punk/heavy metal album cover come to life. Great story, great characters, great scenery and backdrop, and genuine action that is still more effective than some of the computer-generated nonsense pumped out these days. No matter how many times you watch it, it is still just as good as the first.
