Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior is a film I highly recommend for anyone who is a fan of post-apocalyptic action films. Not only is this a perfectly directed improvement from it's 1979 predecessor, but it's also a superb film on it's own, with the story, action, cinematography, and pacing all being top-notch and exquisitely executed.
Mel Gibson as the renowned Max Rockatansky is as excellent as acting performances can be, and the other actors in the film did a fantastic job as well. Everything about this film was an absolute thrill ride. It's no wonder people hail this movie as one of the best action films of all time.
This film definitely deserves the 98% approval rating RT gave it. George Miller as a director did a really good job with the first Mad Max, but for Mad Max 2, he completely nailed it. This film is definitely a classic in my eyes.
